Eric has been playing guitar for 15 years and has been teaching guitar for 6 years. He is well-versed in multiple styles and techniques and is knowledgeable in many genres.He received his B.M.A. in theory and composition. In addition to guitar, he has been studying piano for 7 years and drums for 4 years. As well, he has been trained as an audio engineer who can give valuable advice to students looking to record their music. He abides by the philosophy: Teach the mind and the hands will follow. Thus he puts a strong emphasis on music theory, as it is important to teach students the language of music so that they can communicate with one another when performing. Music is an interactive social experience.
