Rudee Estrada began studying percussion at the age of twelve in the Ruby S. Clifton Middle School concert band. Under Mr.Thompsons's direction, this band won many first place honors in State competitions. He later studied in the Ross S. Sterling High School Jazz Band. He continued his drum set studies at the University of Houston under Tom Cummings.
He has performed live every year since the age of seventeen with many bands ranging from local acts to national recording artists. His studio experience ranges from local home recordings to professional studios in Los Angeles. His playing spans a variety of styles from jazz and country to rock and fusion.He has taught Drums privately since the age nineteen.
His teaching stresses reading standard music notation, studying with a metronome, and ultimately accompanying other musicians in a band setting. The scope of his Drum teaching also adapts to those that only request technique studies. He provides a comfortable teaching enviroment where the student is encouraged to find their talents through music.

He is currently co-owner of Schrew Men Music Publishing who released the first CD from recording artist Mike Conde. The CD was produced entirely by Mike Conde and Rudee, from engineering and recording to mixing and producing the graphic layout.
He keeps up to date in his percussion studies by attending local drum clinics and studying the many books and videos that he has acquired throughout the years. He strives to improve his muscianship daily. Rudee brings his positive outlook on life into his Drum teaching. He has taught Drums and Percussion with Success Music Studios for 11 years.
